Meet Christopher
An Independent Contractor with Into Freedom Counseling
Christopher Renick, Master Level Intern |
Life does not happen in a vacuum and we are relational beings impacting each other for better and worse. We all want to be safe, loved, accepted and respected. We all want to connect without losing ourselves.
The way we look at our stories may have gotten us to where we are now but can also hinder us from who we are becoming. Something that feels like a problem now, can become a strength later. We strive to listen to our stories with a non-judgmental lens while still challenging our basic assumptions and motivations. I am a Master Level Intern and I am working on my master’s degree in clinical counseling at Denver Seminary. I am under supervision to complete licensure. I am a member of the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society in the Delta Sigma Lambda chapter. I have worked with younger and older populations struggling with relationships, life transitions, spirituality, grief and loss, and professional development. I have mainly worked with existential therapy, gestalt therapy, and narrative therapy. It is an honor and a privilege to sit with Individuals exploring their struggles and accomplishments. |
